Online Friday 2017, the country’s biggest annual online shopping day held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will be held on 29 September.

Well-known brands such as Nguyen Kim, MediaMart, Sunhouse, Adayroi are expected to participate.

Besides, customers will have an opportunity to experience the Online to Offline model at the BigOFF event, which will be held on 29 September at trade centres and stores in Ha Noi.

‘Up your style’ will be the greeting from Online Friday 2017 to customers worldwide, and it will feature products from the beauty, health, fashion, and technology equipment industries.  It will also offer promotion programmes and dozens of deals.

The event for fourth year in a row, aims to increase public awareness of e-commerce, and to enable customers to purchase high-quality products at low prices.

Last year, the total sales of 30 large companies on Online Friday 2016, falling on 2 December, reached 664 billion VND (28 million USD), triple the sales of the previous year.

A total of over 3,000 companies participated by offering discounts on 360,000 products and services.

Over 50,000 shoppers in total joined in activities hosted by 20 firms in the BigOff event.
