Da Nang agrees to resume rail services linking with other Vietnamese destinations
The Da Nang government has agreed to the Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR)’s proposal to allow resumption of its services on the Ha Noi- Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) route from October 7.
The municipal administration also asked VNR to put in place strictest health measures to control COVID-19 at rail services on the Ha Noi- Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) route during the process for picking up and dropping off passengers from the Da Nang Railway Station.
All train passenger arrivals and departures in Da Nang must follow COVID-19 guidelines from the municipal government and local health bodies in an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus.
VNR is offering two options for resuming its services on the Ha Noi- Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) route.
First option will allow resumption of the pair of trains: SE7/8 from October 7, and SE5/6 from October 8.
As for the Da Nang - HCM route, SE21/SE22 trains will run from October 15.
