Da Nang startup enters top 10 at Viet Solutions 2021

On Tuesday, the final round of the Viet Solutions 2021, a contest seeking digital transformation solutions for Viet Nam, took place in Ha Noi. As a result, VrFairs project developed by Da Nang-headquartered Digital Transformation Solution Viet Nam Company Ltd advanced to the top 10 best entries.

VrFairs is an online exhibition and event organisation platform through virtual reality, 3D, 360, blockchain, video conferencing. The platform boasts the ability to simulate real events or exhibitions by recreating spaces such as actual event venues, reception halls, conference auditoriums, booths and pavilions.

The virtual space can hold hundreds of booths and allow access by a large number of visits. Visitors can easily access such a virtual exhibition anywhere in the world with just a smart phone or computer with an internet connection.

According to evaluations made by the organisers of Viet Solutions 2021, entries listed in the top 10 showed off high practical applicability, capable of creating breakthroughs in solving life's problems if developed.

These 10 products all featured the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, providing solutions in the fields of education, health, transportation, business administration and entertainment.

Co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications and Military-run telecommunications company Viettel Group, the annual Viet Solutions 2021 aims to seek best technology products and solutions that help drive national digital transformation.

The contest looks for technological ideas and products in the fields of healthcare, education, finance-banking, agriculture, transport - logistics, energy, natural resources - environment, industrial production, entertainment - utilities, and corporate governance.

The first prize of this year’s contest went to Vintom with the solution to convert digital data to video.

The second prizes were awarded to Cyber Purity with its application of artificial intelligence (AI) to filter harmful information on the Internet, and DigiAds with its solution to manage digital content on electronic screens to personalise each client.

Meanwhile, “Dino Di hoc” (Dino Going to School) with an educational application following Howard Gardner theory for children aged 3-6, and Emddi with a solution to manage taxis won the third prizes.
