During the 2018 - 2021 term, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association has gained numerous crucial achievements, affirmed its position and role in gathering, connecting, and supporting legitimate interests of businesses as its members, as well as accompanying the city's socio-economic development. For the upcoming 2021 - 2024 period,  the Association has already set specific goals and directions with the slogan of ‘Elevation- Connection – Development’.

Leaders of the Da Nang’s People's Committee and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association presented the "Smile of public servants" award in 2019 to outstanding individuals.

Engaging actively in activities

In the closest term, the city's Young Entrepreneur’ Association has effectively implemented a host of programmes aiming to connect members and played an important role as a bridge between young entrepreneurs and the Party Committee at all levels, the municipal government and the Youth Union. The Association's motto is most evident during tough times facing the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020 with the engagement of its members in producing, running businesses effectively, overcoming all difficulties, participating in meaningful movements launched by the city and localities, actively contributing to socio-economic development.

Aside from that,  the Association has also conducted incentive programmes for members to encourage joint ventures, association in investment, production, business and cross-use of each other's products;  connect members with domestic and foreign businesses; organise cultural and sports activities, meetings, dialogues, forums, training programs to consult, start a business, share informational. Thereby, creating jobs for more than 60,000 employees, in tandem with generating good quality products to serve domestic and international markets.

The highlight amongst all the activities of the Association is the concentration on social welfare activities. The Association already carried out community-oriented goals with a total of VND20 billion via programmes such as calling for organizations, individuals, member businesses and young entrepreneurs from other provinces and cities to support medical equipment and supplies, coordinating with organizations and district-based authorities to organize the programme ‘Rice of love’, giving Tet gifts, supporting compatriots affected by floods, organizing charity markets.

'Elevation- Connection - Development'

2021 is an important milestone marking the 21 years of birth and growth of the Association. With a long history and the continuous efforts of the Executive Board and all members, the Association continues its meaningful activities, contributing to maintaining and enhancing its role and position with the slogan of  "Elevation- Connection - Development" for 2021-2024 term.
Association’s programmes aim to improve member capacity, promote business, conduct policy dialogue and develop community, focus on consulting, training, digital transformation, international cooperation economy, connecting trade, raising awareness and responsibility of young entrepreneurs for the sake of the community, participating in social activities voluntarily.

According to. Ha Duc Hung, Chairman of the Association, the unit has oriented and restructured activities to support production and business activities of member enterprises, contribute to the city's socio-economic development; at the same time, developed a plan to boost new members as well as focusing on improving the quality of members for 2021-2024 term.

“The Association will continue to affirm the role of the representative of the business community and city businesses in order to reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of businesses. Thereby, contributing to, criticizing, perfecting the city's policies, helping to open the legal corridor in tandem with creating a favourable business environment for businesses, "said Mr Hung.
