Enhancing supply-demand links with localities nationwide

On Friday morning, the Da Nang supply - demand connection programme 2021 was held at the Da Nang International Exhibition Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street in Cam Le District.

Hosted by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the event saw the participation of over 100 manufacturing enterprises, and distribution and retail units in Da Nang and other localities nationwide.

The event was held in person in Da Nang and went virtual at bridge points of Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Can Tho, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Da Lat, and others.

The programme gave a chance for manufacturers and distributors in Da Nang and other provinces and cities nationwide to expand consumption markets and promote their products and brand names to customers. It also facilitated the participants to access e-commerce solutions so as to promote the trading of OCOP products (One Commune-One Product), typical rural industrial products, and best commercial products made in Da Nang and other provinces and cities.

Within the framework of the event, Da Nang government granted certificates to 8 locally-made products meeting the OCOP standards in the first phase of 2021.

In particular, 4 products were recognized as 4-star ones under the so-called OCOP model: squid cakes and spiced dried catfish produced by the Bac Dau Co., Ltd located at 11 Van Don Street, Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District; dried cordyceps DR. Trung by the Vinseed Biotechnology Co., Ltd at 258-260 Le Quang Chi Street, Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District; and baked coconut cake with peanuts by the My Phuong Bakery at 234 Doan Huu Trung Street, Hoa An Ward, Cam Le District.

Meanwhile, the others were recognized as OCOP 3-star products: ‘cha heo’ (grilled pork pate) by the Vo Thi Huynh Business Household at 40 Tran Duy Chien Street, Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District; ‘cha bo’ (grilled beef pate) by the Phuoc Ha Business Household at K123/H54/41 Cu Chinh Lan Street, Hoa Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District; Thanh Trung ‘ca bo rim’ (simmered fish) by Nguyen Van Quang Business Household on Khai Tay 2 Street, Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District; and Tam Nguyen ginger tea by the ​​Tam Nguyen Business Household on Khai Tay 1 Street, Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

Also at the program, manufacturers and distributors showed their keen interest in creating closer links with stores, supermarkets, manufacturers in Da Nang and other provinces and cities across the country.
