Solutions proposed to restore real estate market in the wake of COVID-19
Solutions to drive the property market recovery in the current COVID-19 context were put in the spotlight at a webinar on Thursday at the bridge points in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
The online event was co-organized by the Viet Nam Real Estate Research Institute (VIRES) and the Viet Nam Real Estate Online Magazine Reatimes.
Speaking at the webinar, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh urged agencies, organizations, businesses, experts and scientists to assess and identify difficulties, challenges and opportunities of the current real estate market situation, thereby proposing breakthrough solutions to restore and develop stably the real estate market. These solutions will help the Ministry of Construction to continue perfecting policies on housing and real estate market, hereby making an important contribution to the country's economic stability.
Director of the Real Estate Research and Training Institute Nguyen Duc Lap pointed out some legal issues-related difficulties facing the current real estate market.
In particular, today's business environments are changing rapidly but the law on real estate trading has not been changed in time to fit the new context. Also tools for inspection, examination and supervision of law enforcement are not yet completed.
Director Lap proposed some solutions for promoting the real estate market recovery, with a focus on developing an overall legal strategy to perfect the legal institution for the real estate market.
Also during the virtual event, participating experts and leaders of real estate businesses reviewed Viet Nam's real estate market in 2021 and analyzed emerging trends in real estate in 2022. Heed was paid to discussing the legal bottlenecks of the real estate market and orientation adjustments in the coming time.
