Da Nang airport welcomes over 210 domestic flights on weekend
The Da Nang International Airport welcomed more than 210 domestic flights carrying passengers who arrived in Da Nang for travel and the 2022 Da Nang Investment Forum, far exceeding the figure reported in the pre-COVID time. On Saturday alone, there were more than 100 domestic flights.

Deputy Director of the Da Nang International Airport Hoang Huu Cuong said that on Saturday, 105 domestic and 9 international flights landed at the airport.
This was a far higher than the number of domestic flights to Da Nang before the COVID-19 outbreak with nearly 90 flights per day.
Previously, on Friday, the Da Nang airport also received a record number of domestic flights at 111.
It is known that since Da Nang resumed flights, especially after hosting the Routes Asia 2022 in early June, flights to and from Da Nang have significantly increased.
According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre, since a number of airlines from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand resumed flights to Da Nang at the end of March 2022, there have been nearly 300 flights with tens of thousands of international passengers arriving in the city.
More recently, on the evening of June 22, Korean Air, South Korea's largest airline, officially resumed the Seoul - Da Nang route with charter flights with a frequency of 2 flights/week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
