Da Nang beefs up investment attraction for sake of supporting industries
The Da Nang government has approved the programme to develop supporting industries in Da Nang in the 2022 - 2025 period with a focus on attracting investment in supporting industry development, meeting the localisation needs in different areas of the processing-manufacturing industries.

In particular, focus will be on developing supporting industry products, serving priority industries including hi-tech, electronics, IT- telecommunications, mechanical engineering, equipment and automobile ones, hereby contributing to reducing the trade deficit of components and spare parts and promoting exports,
Also, importance will be attached to enhancing the scale, competitiveness and supply capacity of domestic supporting industry enterprises, promoting supply chain linkages between domestic and foreign-invested enterprises, increasing linkages with localities in the region, ensuring production premises for investment attraction, developing supporting industries in a sustainable way.
The programme sets a target that, by 2025, the proportion of supporting industries in the structure of added value of the processing and manufacturing industry will account for about 30%, of which the proportion of supporting industries in hi-tech, electronics, IT and telecommunications accounts for over 20%.
Also by 2025, there will be 150 supporting industry enterprises, 10% of which are capable of supplying products directly to complete manufacturing and assembling enterprises.
Another important goal is to put into operation the Supporting Industrial Park in service for the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, completing subdivisions for the development of supporting industries in local industrial parks.
