Da Nang conducts survey of human resources and digital transformation capacity in tourism
The Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center has announced that the municipal Department of Tourism is conducting a survey of human resources and digital transformation capacity in the city’s tourism.
In its human resources category, the survey is used for collecting data from local tourism service providers to gain information and insights into various topics of current human resources, including number of full-time and part-time workers, number of employees working under a position, number of trained staff, business performance over past months, and more.
In its digital transformation catergory, the study revolves around certain topics of creation of business websites, online payment, and customer service chatbots, along with digital transformation implementation over past years, application of information technology in sharing information and communicating between departments, and cloud computing capability in local tourism businesses.
The purpose of the survey is to gather all data and information about recruitment requirements, hiring numbers, challenges with recruiting and training employees after resuming tourism activities in tourism businesses. Furthermore, the study aims at knowing facts about the capacity, challenges and suggestions of tourism businesses in implementing digital transformation to improve their competitiveness and attract more tourists to the city.
