The Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh has approved the contractor selection plan for the Lien Chieu Port project.

The Management Board for the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects will be responsible for making a plan to select consultants for conducting surveys and preparing for the project’s design documents, construction drawings and cost estimates.

The bidding package worth VND41.2 billion will be conducted online. The bidding will be open to all contractors nationwide in Q3.

The contract implementation duration shall last 75 days whilst 180 days are set for completing legal procedures related to the contract.

The Lien Chieu Port project will be carried out during the 2021-2025 period at a total cost of more than VND 3,400 billion funded by the national and municipal governments.

According to the city’s public investment capital plan in 2022, VND 515 billion will be allocated for the project, whilst VND 200 billion from the national government will be disbursed for the project from now until late December.
