VND7 billion poured into anti-landslide embankment

The Da Nang government  has given a nod of spending VND7 billion from the city budget for the “Treatment against landslides in Le My hill area in Quan Nam 3 Village, Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District” project. The project aims to overcome landslides, ensure life safety and stabilise people's lives in the above-mentioned hill area.

The investment scale includes construction items of gabion embankment combined with anti-rolling net to keep the status quo; clearing the ground, taping the roof of the talus, building a retaining wall with a total length of about 300m, spreading geotextiles to protect the talus roof against erosion and create green-covered carpets in the area; renewing vertical and horizontal ditches of water sump, slope with concrete structure, collecting water at the foot of the trench and draining it into the existing road basin. The project is headed by Hoa Vang District People's Committee during the 2022 - 2024 implementation period.
