Organised by Da Nang Radio and Television (DRT) between 10 September and 31 December 2016, the event aimed to advertise the beautiful images of the land and people of Da Nang to domestic and international friends.  It also highlighted the city’s remarkable achievements during the 20 years since it was recognised as a centrally-governed city on 1 January 1997.  The contest organisers received over 50 entries from across the country, and all entries were shown on the DRT channels.

In the end, there were no first prize winners.  ‘Khi Nao Thi Cu’ (When Does It Get Old), jointly created by Mr Nguyen Manh and the FYS Entertainment company, won the second prize of 20 million VND.

Two third prizes of 10 million VND each were given out to ‘Da Nang Tren Cao’ (Da Nang from Above) by the Vinh-Production company, and ‘Da Nang - Khat Vong Dai Duong’ (Da Nang - Desire for Conquering the Ocean) by a team called Hang Vo.

Three consolation prizes of 5 million VND each were given to ‘Welcome to Da Nang’ by the Sao Media company, ‘Helping Locals during Typhoon Xangsane’ by the city’s Security Television, and ‘Tuyet Sac Song Han’ (Beautiful Han River) by a team called Tran Dong.
