An art programme entitled 'Melodies of Hometown' will go live at 7:45pm on Saturday, January 1, on the YouTube channel and Facebook page of Da Nang's Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong (Classical drama) Theatre.

The programme will feature unique Tuong extracts and exciting ground puppetry performances, promising to bring the relaxed and funny moments to the audience on the occasion of a new year.

Previously, on the evening of December 31, 2021, the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre hosted an art program themed ‘Scents of Da Nang’ in celebration of the 25^th anniversary of Da Nang’s recognition as centrally-governed city (January 1, 1997 - 2022).

Also on Saturday, people who love the folk art of 'bai choi' can also watch an art programme themed ‘Love Flavour of Da Nang’ on the YouTube channel of the Da Nang Cinema and Culture Center, or  DaNang TV1 and VTV8 channels.

The programme is part of a series of activities marking Da Nang’s important milestone to become centrally-governed city in tandem with contributing to the introduction, promotion and preservation of traditional artistic values.
