Most recently, many football fans in Da Nang have been excited about SHB Da Nang’s regaining of form in league matches.

Mr. Tran Van Hong, Chairman of the SHB Da Nang Fans’ Association, excitedly said that despite the impact of COVID-19, the leaders of the Saigon-Hanoi Bank still fully provided financial support for the Association.

He said that he was very impressed with coach Phan Thanh Hung’s strategies as gathering many local footballers and changing suitable defensive and counter-attack tactics.

That's right, coach Hung launches 4-5 young local players in each match. Most of them play well, of which the most prominent are Luong Duy Cuong, Pham Dinh Duy, and Nguyen Phi Hoang.

After a 4-month break with only 3 points, coach Phan Thanh Hung and his squad came back strongly and won 10 points, of which 3 very important wins against Ha Noi, Song Lam Nghe An, Binh Dinh.

Most recently, coach Hung has terminated contracts with strikers Osaguna and Aboubakar Kone, and central defender Damir Memovic, all who have not yet to meet the professional requirements of the coaching board.

In its efforts to improve its performance at the ongoing V-League 2022, the club has recently signed three new foreign footballers, all from Brazil. They are central defender Walisson Maia, and strikers Erick Luis Palma and Claudir Marini Junior.

Specifically, central defender Walisson Maia has the ability to play well in many positions in the defence. He used to play for many famous football teams in Brazil such as Botafogo-SP, Coritiba FC or Ituano.

Meanwhile, forward Erick Luis Palma started his football career in 2013. He also played for many football clubs in Brazil like Bahia, Bragantino, Boa Esporte, Joinville and Oeste. After that, Erik Luis Palma moved to play for the Al Hidd Club in the Bahraini Premier League. In two recent Bahraini Premier League seasons, he contributed 5 goals for the Al Hidd Club.

Before playing for the SHB DN team, forward Claudir Marini Junior played in Indonesia and Kuwait.

Hopefully these changes in the squad will help SHB DN gain 3 points as hosting Nam Dinh at the city's Hoa Xuan Stadium this late afternoon, and more success in the upcoming matches.
