7 contestants from Da Nang win top prize in regional Informatics Olympiad for senior high school pupils
The final round of of the 2nd Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands Informatics Olympiad for senior high school students has recently taken place at the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology in Da Nang.
The contest was co-hosted by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, along with the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted.
The competition was conducted on online and face to face forms. Face to face form of the competition involved constants from Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands while the online form allowed those from other parts of Viet Nam to attend the competition.
In the end, one contestant from Da Nang and 11 remaining others from elsewhere in the country was awareded the first prize for the specialised IT category. In addition, six others from Da Nang and another four ones claimed the top prize for the non-specialised IT category.
