Charity food fair supports those struggling financially due to Covid-19
In their efforts to help those struggling financially due to the effects of Covid-19 across Da Nang, the Nam Duong Ward authorities in Da Nang's Hai Chau District organised a charity food fair on Tuesday.
In total, 300 people visited this fair and each visitor was allowed to choose and buy favourite products totalling a maximum of 250,000VND on display at this special fair for zero dong.
This charity event was jointly funded by the Techcombank and the HCM City-based Mailisa Cosmetic Surgery &Skin Care Clinic.
It is known that the Nam Duong Ward authorities and relevant local agencies have raised more than 200 million VND in cash and over 100 million VND worth of in-kind gifts from philanthropies nationwide. Their donations have gone to help local families in financially difficult circumstances.
