After a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ha Long Bay, known as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, is making efforts to attract tourists back, thereby contributing to driving Quang Ninh Province’s post-pandemic tourism recovery.
According to the Quang Ninh Province Department of Tourism, in the first four months of this year, the locality welcomed nearly 4 million visitors. Especially, on weekends and holidays, the room occupancy rate at resorts and luxury hotels was 90-100%.
Particularly, boat cruises on Ha Long Bay are always full of passengers. The booking rate on Ha Long Bay overnight cruises is 70-90%.
Let's look at some amazing photos, captured by our freelance photographer Duc Hoang, which reflect the bustling tourism atmosphere in Ha Long Bay. These photos were taken during his visit to the tourist spot in May.
