Agencies and units under the Military Command and the Border Guard Command of Da Nang have launched military training courses in 2024.

In particular, at the Tien Son Sports Arena, authorities in Hai Chau District have organised the army training course in 2024 and launched peak emulation to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. The training course was attended by officers and men from the Military Command of Hai Chau District and the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port.

In 2024, the combat training mission of the city's armed forces focuses on training, rehearsals, competitions, sports festivals and discipline enforcement. In particular, training concentrates on innovation and quality improvement with the mottos "Basic - Practical - Solid" for permanent soldiers, "Basic - Practical - Quality" for militia and self-defence forces; and "Quality - Practicality - Efficiency" for mobilisation reserves.
The training course was attended by officers and men from the Military Command of Hai Chau District and the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port.

Training contents include fostering national defence and security knowledge; shooting exercises and tactical training on models and in the field according to the plan of the Ministry of National Defence. Aside from training in tactical and technical content, importance is attached to training to protect important and especially important targets, and be ready to mobilise to perform A2 tasks; and natural disaster prevention and control search and rescue combined with good public mobilisation work in stationed areas.
