Da Nang permanent militia naval flotilla's ship heads out to sea for Tet patrols

Ship DNa 91218TS belonging to permanent militia naval flotilla under the management of the Da Nang Military High Command on Friday started performing a patrol trip at sea before and during the upcoming 2022 Lunar New Year (Tet) break.

The trip aimed to mobilise fishermen to comply with the Party's guidelines and viewpoints, and the State's policies and laws on national defence and security, ensure the effective exploitation and protection of aquatic resources in the national waters, participate in building a strong and comprehensive base and develop the local socio-economic growth in a bid to serve as the core for building the all-people national defence posture at sea.

Besides, the ship is responsible for coordinating with other relevant forces to protect the national sovereignty over sea and islands, observe and process any information in the air and at sea, and raise fishermen’s awareness of the provisions of the Militia and Self-Defence Law and relevant regulations.

Other key tasks are to protect political security, ensure social order and safety, and protect fishermen and participate in civil defence, search, rescue, transport and supply activities at sea and on islands.
