Boosting bilateral cooperation between Da Nang and Laos' Attapeu
Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh on Monday played host to a delegation from Attapeu Province led by its Party Committee Secretary and Governor ALet Xaynhaphon.

At the meeting, Chairman Chinh briefed his Lao guests on the city's socio-economic development in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023.
Da Nang is focusing on developing such as information technology, high-tech industry, innovative start-ups and seaports. The city is also making efforts to restore international flight routes to develop tourism.
Currently, Da Nang continues to welcome Lao students for study at educational institutions in the city. It is expected that in April 2023, on the occasion of Bunpimay traditional Tet of Laos, the city will organise an exchange program with Lao students at the University of Economics , a member school of the University of Da Nang (UD).
“The visit of Provincial Governor ALet Xaynhaphon once again affirms the special relationship of Viet Nam-Laos, and Da Nang- Attapeu in particular. It is hoped that the two localities to continue to enhance their relationship and mutual support”, said Chairman Chinh.

On his part, Governor Let Xaynhaphon thanked the city leaders for the respectful and warm welcome, adding that the Attapeu - Da Nang relationship has recorded many important achievements and cooperation programmes have been implemented effectively.
Provincial Governor Let Xaynhaphon thanked Da Nang for supporting and helping Attapeu over recent years. Through this business trip, the leader of Attapeu Province wishes that Da Nang investors will come to Attapeu to seek even more investment opportunities in the field of eco-tourism and agriculture.
Through the exchange, Chairman Chinh said that the Da Nang leaders will report to the city's businesses about investment opportunities in Attapeu Province in the coming time.
