On Thursday, police officers from the Economic Crime Investigation Division (PC46) of the Da Nang Department of Police seized 1,247 boxes of shampoo, 103 boxes of functional food labelled with the brand name Omega, 157 boxes of motion sickness patches, and around 3,500 anti-counterfeiting stamps.  They are all suspected of being fake and made in China.  The police detected the items on 9 January when they were checking the company warehouse of Vinadaco on Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen.

Earlier, PC46 officers had inspected a wine and beer shop on Hung Vuong in Hai Chau District.  A total of 66 bottles of whisky, labelled with the brand name Chivas, had been found lacking the relevant papers to prove their origin.  All of them were seized for further investigation.
