Eight-year-old Bui Hong Kien living Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District used all his birthday money to donate to the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee on Monday to support efforts of the city’s frontline healthcare workers in the ongoing anti-coronavirus battle.

Kien donated 1 million VND to support efforts of the city's frontline staff. Young boy said his birthday money is a small amount of money but he wants to contribute to the city's efforts in the battle against the pandemic  

Mr Pham Phu Binh, Chief of the Office of the municipal Fatherland Front Committee Secretariat thanked the young donor and highly praised him for his meaningful and good action. He took the opportunity to encourage Kien study well, as well as become a useful citizen in the society.
