Two British men cured of coronavirus say thanks to Da Nang before returning home
Two British tourists, who became the first two cases to have contracted coronavirus in Da Nang on 8 March and have been cured in the Da Nang General Hospital, left the city for home on Friday morning, the municipal Tourist Support Centre has announced.

They left the hospital on 27 March following three negative tests. They have been discharged from hospital having make a full recovery from the illness after a nearly 2-week battle with Covid-19.
They have left the city for home after completing their 14-day self-isolation period at their residence after discharge following the Ministry of Health's guidelines.
The two British men thanked doctors and nurses of the Da Nang General Hospital, and staff of the Tourist Support Centre for their great care and support during their hospital stay and their stay in the city.
“We are so touched by the kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism that we have received from staff of the hospital and the centre during our stay in Da Nang. Local residents are very kind, and friendly. We also told the Embassy of England in Viet Nam about the kindness and enthusiasm of the government and people of Da Nang” the British visitors remarked.
They said their journey in the beautiful seaside city was still unfinished. They also said that they will come back to Da Nang in the near future because all tourism services here are very good.
