Following the Prime Minister's latest guidelines, the Da Nang government will cover all costs of two weeks of mandatory quarantine in designated sites for all arrivals from Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) including returning residents, not requiring them to pay for their quarantines as the city’s announcement on 4 April.

On 5 April, Da Nang began a mandatory two-week quarantine for anyone arriving from Ha Noi and HCMC which have high numbers of infections in Viet Nam.

Vietnamese nationals will be placed in isolation at the Centre for Training National Defense and Security Knowledge at 86 Nguyen Chanh in Lien Chieu District, and the Dong Nghe Training Centre in Hoa Vang District. Foreigners will be quarantined in the Sam Grand Hotel located at 7 Pham Van Dong Street in Son Tra District.

The Da Nang authorities have announced the new measures to stop new arrivals from bringing the deadly pathogen into their city.

Between 5 April and 7 April , Da Nang quarantined 19 Vietnamese nationals and 2 foreigners arriving from Ha Noi and HCMC in its designated sites.

Besides, 173 people arriving in the city from 1- 4 April from the two cities are placed in self-quarantine and put under medical monitoring at their places of residence.
