Da Nang records zero COVID-19 cases on Oct. 13
The Da Nang Steering Board of COVID-19 Prevention and Control documented zero coronavirus cases throughout the city on Wednesday October 13.
Also on the same day, a combined total of 7, 326 local residents across the city had their nasal swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing, 4,779 of whom tested for the virus via the RT-PCR technique whilst the rest were subject to the rapid antigen testing.
Today, Da Nang’s functional forces received 229 returnees from other pandemic-struck localities, all of whom were put under mandatory quarantine in line with the regulations.
Currently, 214 returnees are undergoing mandatory quarantine at the city’s designated concentrated areas whilst 414 others are self-quarantining at home.
There are 13 still- in-operation facilities putting a combined total of 369 people under quarantine.
For the time being, the city only has one blockaded area in An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District with links to previous COVID-19 infections, housing 23 households with a combined total of 91 residents.
Since July 10 when the current COVID-19 wave started in Da Nang, the municipal caseload tally has stayed at 4,681.
