140 Da Nang students join 'Military Semester 2022' programme
The Da Nang Youth Union and the municipal Military Command on Saturday jointly launch the 2-week-'Military Semester 2022’ programme with the participation of 140 students from junior and senior high schools in Da Nang and its neighbouring provinces.

The programme will take place in from June 18 to July 1 at the Infantry Regiment 971 in Lien Chieu District.
In addition to the content of military command training and familiarization with a number of conventional weapons, the trainees also learned many skills such as collective activities, fire prevention and fighting and group working as well as participate in cultural and sports activities and experience living with residents in Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youth Union, Chairman of the city’s Youth Federation said the programme is open for those aged 12 - 16.
This is a meaningful training activity to help children experience the reality in the military environment. Participating in the highly practical event, young people have the opportunity to enhance their social practical skills and military-related educational activities, thereby helping raise their sense of responsibility towards society and their families and contribute to shaping their personalities.
