Residents in the parts from Ha Tinh to Thua Thien- Hue are bracing for cold weather, isolated rains with the early morning fog likely in some places on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Viet Nam’s National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

From late Wednesday afternoon, scattered showers are likely over the parts from Da Nang to Binh Dinh while cooler weather is expected to work in Da Nang and Quang Nam.

Cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms may prevail over the Mid-Central Region and South Central Coast from Friday into next Thursday, December 22. There are chances for isolated heavy rainfall in these areas from Friday into Sunday, December 18.

Temperatures in Da Nang are expected to fall as low as 16 degrees Celsius next week.

The national weather service on Tuesday afternoon said the mercury would begin to drop from Wednesday with the minimum temperature falling from 19 -21 degrees Celsius. Temperatures are expected to remain low into Saturday, December 17. Da Nang will continue to experience cloudy skies with light rain from Wednesday into Saturday but moderate rain is likely to take place in the city on Saturday. Cloudy skies with light rain is in forecast for Da Nang from Sunday into next Thursday, December 22. The cold weather pattern will stay in the city until next Thursday.

It will turn cooler next Monday, December 19, with temperatures ranging from 16 to 18 degrees, with the chances of showers on December 19 and 20.
