Over 250 tonnes of garbage dumped on beaches
Since early December, more than 250 tonnes of garbage dumped on beaches in Da Nang have been collected, according to the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC.

In particular, in the first ten day of December, two small floods occurred in the basins of Vu Gia, Thu Bon, Tuy Loan and Cu De due to heavy rains. As a result, a lot of garbage followed the rivers to the estuaries and was pushed to beaches. The company mobilized workers and motor vehicles to collect and transport 104 tonnes of garbage to the Khanh Son Landfill.
In addition, huge amount of trash, mostly plastic waste, twigs and leaves, has covered beaches Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu districts since the beginning of the monsoon.
Every day, a total of 70 sanitation workers and motor vehicles are mobilized to collect trash along the beaches.
