The Supporting Industrial Park project is kept on right track and 126.5 billion VND have been to date used to carry out this large-scale project.
The upgrade of a previously-planned auxiliary zone serving the Hi-tech Park into the ongoing Supporting Industrial Park is highly expected to drive the development of support industries, provide ancillary services for the Hi-tech Park, create a close link amongst businesses operating here, attract more foreign investment, and transfer advanced and modern technology and production skills through cooperation between domestic and foreign enterprises involved support industries.
Given a convenient position in terms of airways, waterways, roadways and railways, along with the establishment of the Supporting Industrial Park, an industrial ecosystem is highly predicted to be created in the Hi-tech Park in the coming time.
Developed by the US-based Universal Alloy Corporation Asia Pte. LTD-UAC, the 170 million US$ Sunshine aerospace components factory, one of the largest FDI projects operating in the Hi-tech Park, is always in need of suppliers of high-quality supporting industrial products.
Besides, this large-scale facility will build or rent ready-made facilities to provide comfortable accommodations for its foreign experts.
Mr Bui Le Anh Hieu, the Director of Long Hau Joint Stock Company, one of the pioneering investors in providing services to investors in the Hi-tech Park, said a number of foreign investors have been expanding their production into Southeast Asian countries as the Covid-19 pandemic is basically contained there.
This sign, indeed, offers a great opportunity for Viet Nam to penetrate more deeply into the global supply chain through promoting the development of support industries.

Da Nang Hi-tech Park, one of the top 3 hi-tech parks in Viet Nam, is forecasted to become an attractive magnet to lure inflows of FDI, especially in the aspects of electricity-electronics and precision engineering.
The supporting industrial park will play an important role in driving the development of the Hi-tech Park, and the city as a whole, and make it an attractive destination in Viet Nam for domestic and foreign investors.
The Long Hau JSC, the developer of a number of industrial parks in southern Viet Nam, has poured more than one trillion VND into the construction of the hi-tech factory cluster for lease in the Hi-tech Park. The cluster, covering a total of over 29.6 ha of land, is on a landmark mission to provide ready-built facilities, with an area of 500 - 3,300m2 each, for investors, plus 170m2 offices for rent.
Encouragingly, the 1st stage of the project which covers an area of 10,000m2 has been already completed. Ready-built factories, with an area of 1,500 m2 each, are offered for lease. The 1st stage of the project is currently leased to two Japanese-invested high-tech equipment manufacturing projects, namely US$5.13 million Hatsuta and US$6 million Inaba. Meanwhile, the next stage of 10,000m2 is being on track, and it is scheduled to be put into operation in October.
In addition to its factories for lease, the Long Hau JSC offer construction consultancy, job introduction, environmental sanitation and support services for businesses, especial small and medium-sized ones.
