The Tuy Loan wet market located in Hoa Phong Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, reopened and resumed normal operating hours on Tuesday morning after closure due to COVID-19 exposure, Mr. Tran Kim Dinh, the Head of the Authority of Hoa Vang District traditional markets has announced.

A total of 23 stall holders selling such essential items as meat, seafood, and vegetables are only allowed to operate in this wet market. Eligible patrons are leaders of the COVID-19 community teams who are helping their local residents with food and grocery shopping and delivering them to their homes amid the city-wide stay-at-home mandate.

The Authority of Hoa Vang District traditional markets has provided contact numbers of suppliers of goods for stall holders to help them source enough food and essentials to meet daily needs of local residents.

In addition, a delivery area is already created at the Tuy Loan wet market, allowing space for social distancing in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.
