Vietnam Railways operates three more pairs of trains on Ha Noi- HCMC route from Oct. 21
The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) is adding three more pairs of trains between Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and between Ha Noi-Hai Phong from today, October 21
COVID-19 testing is compulsory for passengers departing from areas at alert level 4. The Ministry of Transport has issued new guidance for train passengers travelling from different alert level areas but restrictions have been loosened.

As for the Ha Noi - HCMC route, SE3 train will daily depart from Ha Noi at 7:25pm and arrive in HCMC at 4:38am while SE4 train will daily depart from HMC 7:25pm and arrive in Ha Noi at 4:48am.
Overall, there will be 3 more pairs of trains namely SE5/6, SE7/8 and SE3/4 operating on the Ha Noi - HCMC route.
The Ha Noi - Vinh route will see a pair of NA1/2 trains running. NA1 will depart from Ha Noi at 10:15pm on October 22 while NA2 will depart from Vinh at 9:25pm on October 21.
A pair of SE21/22 trains will run on the HCMC - Da Nang route from October 22. Every day, SE22 will depart from HCMC at 10:40 am on October 22 while SE21 will depart from Da Nang at 8:47 am on October 23.
A pair of LP3/8 trains will run daily on the Ha Noi - Hai Phong route from October 23.
