The Da Nang People's Committee has already given the green light to traffic re-arrangement at some locations where severe traffic congestion usually occurs.

In detail, the Dien Bien Phu - Ha Huy Tap intersection with a heavy traffic will be upgraded in the direction of narrowing the 3.5m wide median strip on Dien Bien Phu Street and the 3.5m wide sidewalk of Ha Huy Tap Street to create lanes for left and right turns respectively so as to increase traffic movement capacity.

Besides, other tasks will include the relocation of technical infrastructure and the adjustment of the road signs, traffic control signal lights and traffic surveillance cameras to match the traffic organisation plan. In particular, telecommunications infrastructure, and medium and low voltage lines, substations will be relocated from the upgrade site.

Along a section of Nguyen Tri Phuong Street between its intersections with Le Dinh Ly and Trung Nu Vuong streets, car parking is prohibited from 11:00am – 2:00pm and from 4:00pm -7:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Motorcycles travelling on Nui Thanh Streets are permitted to turn right into Tieu La if the traffic light turns red. 

The municipal People's Committee assigned the Department of Transport, based on the above regulations, to organise the appraisal of the traffic re-arrangement project's economic and technical reports and implement it with the use of the transport development capital allocated for the 2021 – 2022 period.
