Da Nang fair honouring OCOP products runs till 11 June

The Da Nang Vietnamese Goods Fair 2023 - Honouring OCOP Products is running till 11 June at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre, 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le District.

This year, the fair attracted more than 200 booths owned by over 100 businesses, organisations and individuals in Da Nang and 18 other provinces and cities such as Ha Noi, Hai Duong, Lao Cai, Son La, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Cao Bang, Nghe An, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Soc Trang and Ben Tre.

Products on display at the fair include goods in the fields of industry, agriculture, handicrafts, garments, footwear, fashion items, traditional village products, and products bearing regional characteristics, and related service products.

Notable at the fair is a display area exclusively for OCOP products made in the city and other nationwide localities, along with the provision of advise on how to distinguish real and fake goods.

Also within the framework of the fair, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade has launched a promotional month to stimulate shopping demand in the city from June 6 to August 8.

Up to now, more than 4,000 businesses have responded with a variety of promotional activities offering discount of up to 100%.

In particular, the promotional month witnesses the participation of large centres and supermarkets across the city such as MM Mega Market, Lotte Mart, Go! Da Nang and Co.opmart with many promotions at traditional markets, night markets, specialised streets, tourist attractions, fairs, exhibitions and events in the city.
