Co-organised by Da Nang’s Union of Literature and Arts Associations and its Artistic Photography Association, a photo contest entitled ‘Clipper Race’ is running until 5 March.

The competition is open to any amateur or professional domestic or foreign photographers.  Entries must reflect the exciting support activities, and the beauty of the landscape and people of Da Nang, during the Clipper Race fleet’s stay in the city.  Contestants are encouraged to send fresh, creative and inspiring photographs.

Each contestant can upload a maximum of 15 photos, either in colour or black and white, to http://thianhduathuyenbuomquocteclipper.com, or send them to the Union of Literature and Arts Associations in alley 54/10 Ong Ich Khiem. 

The first prize winner will receive 10 million VND, whilst 2 second prizes of 8 million VND each and 3 third prizes of 4 million VND each will also be awarded.  In addition, there will be 3 consolation prizes of 2 million VND each.  The awards ceremony and the opening ceremony of a photo exhibition to display the outstanding entries are scheduled to be held on 29 March.
