The Da Nang People's Committee has just approved a project to organise annual special cultural festival events, associated with the establishment of night-time ones in the city in the 2022 - 2026 period.

The project is estimated to cost VND128 billion funded by the State budget and financial sources collected from the general public.

The objective is to continue to preserve and promote the typical traditional festivals of the city, upgrade annual events, build up a number of festivals and cultural - sports events with typical and different characteristics in order to create new and unique tourist products bearing the city's brand connected to nighttime economic activities.

Under the project, heed will be paid to collecting financial resources from the community to organise events and festivals, especially typical ones, proposing a number of policies and solutions to create an open environment for relevant partners in the implementation process. These measures will help increase economic value, effectively contributing to fostering socio-economic development, especially the cultural industry.

So as to implement the project, relevant local agencies will propose solutions to strengthen State management and perfect mechanisms and policies, and improve the quality of human resources, infrastructure and facilities associate events and festivals with the city's nocturnal tourism development.
