Highly inviting International Yoga Festival - Da Nang 2022
The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Ha Noi, is running the International Yoga Festival - Da Nang 2022 at the Bien Dong (East Sea) Park.

According to Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Chairman of the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, Head of the event’s organising board, this year’s festival is an important external activity in Da Nang and it is as part of a series of events to celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and 15 years of the Viet Nam – India strategic partnership and the 8th International Yoga Day.
This event is also an opportunity to promote the dynamic and hospitable image of the coastal Vietnamese city of Da Nang so that it can attract more domestic and international tourists, contributing to strengthening the exchanges, solidarity, friendship and cooperation between Da Nang and India.
Besides, the event also introduces Yoga and Indian cultural values in this ancient practice and encourage Da Nang residents to improve the health.
Saturday evening saw artistic yoga performances by instructors from India and yoga clubs in Da Nang, along with booths highlighting Yoga products as well as the culture and tourism of Da Nang, and Son Tra District in particular.
Sunday evening is slated to witness an outdoor mass yoga performance, with the participation of 1,500 people.
Yoga is an ancient practice which brings together physical, mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind. Yoga is a form of exercise that is performed through diet, breathing and physical posture.
