Fine Arts Exhibition Region 5 to take place in Da Nang from August 12 - September 5
At a press conference on Wednesday it was announced that the Fine Arts Exhibition in the South Central and Central Highlands regions in 2022 will take place at the APEC Sculpture Park, Hai Chau District, Da Nang from August 12 - September 5.
Co-organised by the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association and the municipal People’s Committee, the upcoming event aims to celebrate the 77th anniversaries of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day (September 2).
On display at the event will be 167 works of fine arts created by 156 artists from August 2021 until now. Eighty-one of them are made by members of the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association, and 86 by members and collaborators from the Fine Arts Associations of Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Dak Lak.
Notably, 32 artists from Da Nang will participate in the exhibition with a total of 33 entries, marking the highest-ever number recorded in this year’s event.
