The Ministry of Education and Training plans to hold a national startup festival for students on March 26 and 27 at the University of Transport Technology in the northern province of Vinh Phuc.

The festival aims to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among students, select highly viable ideas to incubate them into startups, connect startup support units in educational institutions and honour typical startup support models.

The main activities at the festival will include the opening ceremony of the event, an exhibition, a policy dialogue on the development of students’ startup ecosystem and the final round of a competition entitled “Students with startup ideas” in 2021 (SV-STARTUP-2021).

The awards ceremony will honour winning projects and awarding prizes to training institutions, municipal/provincial Education and Training departments with typical startup support models in 2021.
