Da Nang has surpassed more than 80 nominations to win the Viet Nam Smart City 2023 award for four consecutive years, the Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association (Vinasa) recently announced. This is the most prestigious and only award for this year's group of cities/municipalities.

The awarding ceremony of the Viet Nam Smart City 2023 Award is expected to take place on the morning of November 30 at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi.

Along with the award ceremony, Vinasa will organise the Viet Nam - Asia Smart City Summit 2023 themed ‘Data mining, building smart cities, sustainable development’.

The event will feature such activities as opening session and 9 conferences revolving around 3 main topics: government - people - businesses; technology, connectivity and data; cooperation and development; exhibition on achievements in smart urban construction, digital transformation of provinces/cities and connection session with domestic and international smart urban construction consulting units.
