Summer volunteer youth campaign 20220 launched in Da Nang
The Da Nang Youth Union (YU), on Sunday morning, officially kicked off its Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign 2022.

Municipal YU Secretary Nguyen Manh Dung said that the annual campaign has borne the imprint of youth. The activity contributed to continuing the volunteer spirit of previous generations of young people, and affirming the responsibility and determination, enthusiasm and wisdom of the youth for the development of the country and homeland.
During the launching ceremony of the campaign, the Standing Committee of the YU set goals and plans suitable to the actual situation, as well as flexibly and effectively adapting to the current pandemic situation in line with the city’s guidelines and requirements.
Also at the ceremony, nine volunteer youth teams under the YU made their public debuts.
These teams will be actively involved in implementing volunteer campaigns in difficult areas in the city and provinces in the South Central Coast region. They are ‘Tiep Suc Mua Thi’ (Giving Strength to Exam Season), ‘Mua He Xanh’ (Green Summer), ‘Hoa Phuong Do’ (Red Phoenix Flowers), ‘Ky Nghi Hong’ (Pink Holiday), ‘Hanh Quan Xanh’ (Green March), ‘Chuyen Doi So Cong Dong’ (Community Digital Transformation), ‘Kham Benh Phat Thuoc Mien Phi’ (Free Medical Examination and Medicine), ‘Vi Dan Em Than Yeu’ (For Sake of Beloved Juniors), and ‘Chuyen Giao Khoa Hoc Cong Nghe’ (Science and Technology Transfer).
On the occasion, the YU handed over many youth projects to localities. Included were 14 children's playground totalling VND2.8 billion, 12 toilets for children worth VND120 million in total, VND60 million in funding for the repair of charitable houses, VND100 million lighting decoration at 2 cemeteries, and donating 20,000 acacia seedlings to young people to earn more income.
Right after the launching ceremony, participating YU members and young people joined in a maritime environment cleanup activity at the T junction of Hoang Sa and Le Duc Tho streets in Son Tra District.
