Secretary of the An Khe Ward YU organisation Do Van Thanh remarked his unit's members learned how to make face shields from Youtube videos.

He also highlighted the significance of face shields in helping the wearers protect themselves against flying respiratory droplets that can transmit coronavirus, such as from coughs and sneezes.

Apart from face shields, YU members in An Khe Ward donated 500 face masks to frontline police officers and staff. In addition, hand sanitizer gels were offered to staff of the ward medical station.

YU members also advise market stallholders and shoppers to frequently clean their hands and wear face masks.
