The Da Nang Labour Union has just announced its plan to provide free 10,000 liters of gasoline for people who go through the city on their way home from the Southern localities.

Free food and bottles of drinking water are being provided for returnees on their way back to their hometowns passing through the city

Specifically, from October 8-10, union members are being assigned at the transit stations at the Hai Van Tunnel in Lien Chieu District to give 10,000 liters of gasoline free-of-charge to returnees from worst-hit Southern localities passing through Da Nang. Gasoline is stored in plastic bottles with a capacity of 1.5 liters each and then distributed directly to the returnees.

Municipal Chairman of the Da Nang Labour Union Nguyen Duy Minh said that his unit’s meaningful plan aimed to respond to the city’s instructions on supporting for people on their way home from the Southern localities, thereby facilitate a safe return to home for these returnees.
