The Da Nang Farmers' Association and the PVI Insurance Company, on Monday, entered into a cooperation agreement on implementing a social security and welfare programme for the Association’s members and farmers.

Under the deal, PVI Insurance will be providing healthcare insurance products; health insurance for borrowers; and accident, car and motorcycle insurance; construction insurance; and compulsory fire and explosion insurance coverage.

PVI Insurance will reduce at least 10% of the selling price of voluntary insurance products compared to the listed prices for the Association’s members and farmers in the city.

Every year, PVI Insurance extracts 1.5% of its total pre-tax revenue to the municipal Farmers' Association, and 2% to district-level chapters of the municipal Farmers' Association. Also, it will issue a number of other preferential regimes.

Moreover, PVI Da Nang Insurance will be actively involved in organizing events for famers, giving gifts to the Association’s members and poor farmers, and funding the organisation of cultural and sports activities, fairs and exhibitions hosted by the city’s Farmers' Association.
