Plane makes emergency landing upon take-off due to technical problem
A Vietnam Airlines-operated flight, with 111 passengers onboard, from Da Nang to the capital city of Ha Noi was forced to make an emergency landing not long after take-off on Wednesday after a problem was detected in an engine.
The Airbus A321 safely returned to the Da Nang Airport after the problem was reported.
The Central Viet Nam Airport Authority confirmed that there was no fire nor smoke on the plane.
As reported, the incident was not serious and the flight crew didn’t need to seek emergency support upon landing.
All passengers were transferred to other flights later the same day to continue their travel.
For the time being, technicians are inspecting the plane to determine the cause of the problem.
According to local media, there would have been a product of the incomplete combustion of fuel due to a lack of airflow.
