Accordingly, the travel ban order will be placed for the bridges of Thuan Phuoc, Han River, Tran Thi Ky, Dragon and Pho Nam, plus the Hue T-junction overpass according to wind levels.

Specifically, when the wind reaches level 6 (corresponding to the speed of 10.8 m/s - 13.8 m/s), barriers will be set up at both ends of the bridges in order to warn people of potential traffic accidents when crossing the bridges.

When the wind reaches level 7 (corresponding to the speed from 13.9 m/s -17.1 m/s), all types of motorcycles and rudimentary vehicles will be banned from going through the Thuan Phuoc Bridge.

When the wind reaches level 10 (corresponding to the speed from 24.5 m/s to 28.4 m/s), barriers will be set up, and travel ban order will be placed for all bridges.

The Da Nang Bridge and Road JSC and the Linh Suong Trading and Service Construction Company Limited are responsible for monitoring actual wind levels at wind monitoring stations located at the Thuan Phuoc and Tran Thi Ly bridges, and the Hue T-junction overpass. The purpose is to timely prepare human resources, vehicles, equipment and fences for bridge blockade.

The Da Nang Management Boards for Infrastructure Construction and Urban Development Investment Projects and Traffic Construction Investment Projects arrange workers to dredge water collection systems; clean up manholes and garbage net; and check all pumping equipment, backup pumps, power generation system and backup generators; at the road tunnel at the intersection of Dien Bien Phu and Nguyen Tri Phuong streets, and road tunnel taking Duy Tan under the busy junctions with Le Dinh Tham and the western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, in a bid to ensure continuous operation of pumping systems there. The road tunnels will be closed to traffic when water flooding occurs.

The authorities of Ngu Hanh Son, Son Tra, Hai Chau, Thanh Khe and Lien Chieu districts direct local functional forces to coordinate with police forces to warn road users and guide and regulate traffic follow other routes to ensure traffic safety during the typhoon.
