Origin Impact Hub, a project of registered social enterprise Sunrise Potential Partners was honored to welcome His Excellency Marc Knapper, the American Ambassador to Vietnam to our Shared Kitchen and Learning Hub at Indochina Mall 74 Bach Dang Str., Hai Chau Dist., Danang, Vietnam.

Origin Impact Hub is currently implementing numbers of social impact projects. Cocoon is one that provides food and beverage vocational training for disadvantage youth and disabled people in central Vietnam. Today marked an important milestone for the project team to welcome the Ambassador to be one of the guests attending their tasting class.

During the class, the trainees had the opportunity to cook and serve the guests a full menu while the guests enjoyed seeing them cooking directly from their tables.

“It is great to see such project like Cocoon to help people in need in the community. All the dishes are very tasty. They did a good job” His Excellency Knapper shared.

“Within the framework of Origin Shared Kitchen and Learning Hub, we hope to incubate increasing social impact projects so that they can accelerate and ultimately, just like these young trainees of Cocoon, to be equipped with proper tools to be able to fly and be successful to become their own stars” Ms. Ha Nguyen, Founder of SPP added.
