2 new urban projects to be built
The city is aiming to develop new urban spaces later this year in the Ngu Hanh Son and Hoa Vang districts on a total area of over 1,000ha.

The Hoa Quy and Hoa Son urban areas in the Ngu Hanh Son and Hoa Vang districts respectively will help the city expand its residential areas into the northwest region.
As planned, the FPT Complex project, which has inaugurated the first stage on 5.9ha, will reserve more 1.6ha for urban development. In addition, the already operational Phuc Loc Vien residential park will be expanded to 4.1ha.
Meanwhile, the An Don Industrial Park plans to develop apartment and residential projects in the years ahead.
The city has already developed 4 urban areas – Hoa Xuan, FPT complex, Golden Hills and Da Phuoc – that plan to accommodate 2.5 million locals and 15 million tourists by 2030.
The city authorities has approved a construction plan on Bau Tram Lakeside project in Lien Chieu District on 460ha with total investment of 605 billion VND (US$26.8 million).
The project, funded by the Sai Gon-Da Nang Investment Company, will include apartments, villas, public entertainment areas, trading centres and living quarters with standard wastewater treatment and communications operational by 2019.
The city, situated at the end of the East-West Economic Corridor, which links with Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Viet Nam, plans to develop into a green city by 2025 and an economic hub for boosting development in the central region and highlands.
