Incubation programme for 3 new start-up projects launched

The Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support Company Ldt (DNES), also known as the Da Nang Incubator, on Tuesday, officially launched an incubation programme for a total of 3 outstanding start-up projects in the city.

The projects are Dawa Farm, which makes healthy peanut cooking oil; ecommerce website Toidayhoc.com, which connects instructors and learners; and Fserving Home, which links real estate traders by deploying an artificial intelligence (AI) application.

Under this ongoing 6-month-long programme, the developers of the above-mentioned projects are being provided with free-of-charge creative and dynamic co-working space equipped with modern facilities at DNES.

Also, the participants are attending intensive training courses on business start-up knowledge and skills.

Moreover, the projects are receiving active support from start-up mentors and consultants, and especially in connecting with angel investors, domestic and international investment funds, and media partners to advertise their products.

Within the framework of the launching of the new incubation programme, DNES also introduced 3 projects which have successfully completed a recent incubation course. They are Pasteur Healthcares Ecosystem; ‘Xe Di Ke’ (Pickups) , which connect drivers and passengers on short distances; and Meraki, which develops and organises programmes on English, skills and arts for children in new ways

Since its official operation in 2016, DNES has provided an incubation setup for over 40 startup projects. Only some 50% of them still exist and grow to date, and some 60% stay connected to the incubator.

It is hoped that the newly launched incubation programme would help more startups achieve success and retain their connection with DNES to form an effective startup ecosystem.
