The 2016 Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival (Hanami Festival), which took place in Da Nang’s Asia Park last weekend, attracted a large number of local residents and visitors, especially young people. 

Visitors had a chance to enjoy Yosakoi dancing and cosplay costume-wearing shows, as well as visit special areas displaying over 3,000 traditional handicraft products from Japan and introducing Japanese cuisine.  Many young people were very eager to try on kimonos, the Japanese traditional costume, and pose for souvenir photos with the beautiful pink and white cherry blossom.
