On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum muncipal People's Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet visited and congratulated the municipal Veterans’ Association on the 34^th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam Veterans' Association (December 6).

On behalf of the city's leaders, Deputy Secretary Triet wished leaders and members of the local Veterans’ Association a good health, hoping that they will continue to make their efforts to fulfill the city’s great solidarity and socio-economic development tasks.

He highly praised the outstanding results and great efforts made by association leaders, officials, and members in well carrying out politics and governance tasks, especially at the grassroots.

Many movements, campaigns, and models of the municipal Veterans Association are very effective. Thanks to that, a large number of veterans have been gathered, spreading the spirit of solidarity and dedication throughout society.

Mr. Triet voiced his hope that officers and members of the municipal Veterans Association will promote the pioneering spirit, set a good example, and inspire the desire to promote the city's progress. He asked them to continue to educate morality and revolutionary ideals for the young generation, which is considered a particularly important task in the current period.
